Christian Concern for the Homeless Association

Purpose

The association is committed to serving the homeless and those living in substandard housing through a holistic approach. Their mission is rooted in Christian faith and focuses on the “Three Re-s”:

  • Reconstructing broken lives.
  • Restoring broken families.
  • Rekindling shattered hope.

The organization aims to meet the physical, mental, and spiritual needs of marginalized individuals, helping them regain their dignity and reintegrate into society.


Services

They provide a wide range of support services tailored to the needs of the homeless community:

  • Homeless Outreach: Proactive street visits to provide immediate relief and build relationships with street sleepers.
  • Substandard Housing Outreach: Reaching out to residents living in impoverished conditions like bedspace apartments and partitioned flats.
  • Hostel Services: Providing transitional housing through dedicated hostels for both men and women.
  • Day Centers: Offering a safe space (The “Home” Center) for rest, affordable meals, and social fellowship.
  • Food Assistance: Nutritional support and hot meal programs to alleviate financial pressure.
  • Life Education & Development: Training programs and counseling aimed at family reconciliation and self-reliance.
